Hello outfit members!

As many of you have already heard, the officer team has been busy finishing up the requirements for the Lieutenant rank.

In this post, we want to let you know of the requirements to become a Lieutenant, as well as give you the chance to apply for the promotion.
To keep it simple, the requirements will be listed at the end of the post and general information will be given in this text.

The Lieutenant rank is meant to be for members with more advanced certifications that can be trusted to complete tasks reliably during squad and platoon play. This means that the attitude, as well as the general communication, must be excellent. However keep in mind that a microphone is still not required, as some people are great writers too. What is that attitude we are talking about? Following orders given by squad and platoon leads is probably the biggest part of it, however, the general behaviour will count towards it as well.

To make it easier on everybody, we would like members who unlocked the necessary certifications and are ready to be promoted to comment on this post.

The required certifications to become a Lieutenant are the following:

Thanks for the opportunity.
I have a question.I have never played Heavy Assault and i dont think i will.I had everything except one Heavy requirement. It would be nice if you give us a chance to skip one class requirements or maybe one or two mixed requirement.I bought Nemesis VSH9 but flak armour seems like a luxury for me at the moment.I could spend my certs on the last update for spawn beacon or more to deployment shield since i deploy a lot of sunderers.I can still unlock the armor if needed.Just let me know.
I was leading squads in morning and afternoons in weekdays.I enjoyed a lot.I would like to do more.

Thanks for the question Prometheus, it's a fair concern.

We just discussed it with the Leaderteam again, and came to the conclusion that we will stay with the required certifications.

The reasoning behind this is the following:

The Lieutnant is supposed to be able to fill in any role needed. If we (for example, since it was the class in question for you) ask for more Heavy Assaults in the squad, we expect Lieutnants to be able to switch to the Heavy Assault with reasonable certifications. Even if you do not play the class usually (and we generally won't force you to) we as leaders expect our Lieutenants to switch to classes needed instead of having other members filling the roles they do not have certed into at all.

I hope you understand our decision, if you have any further questions feel free to ask!
